ABOUT SAM THOROGOOD
Sam joined the firm in 2022 having just completed his undergraduate degree in law at the University of York.
Sam was a music scholar at school and gained extensive experience in the subject. Upon completing his grade 8 piano, Sam shifted focus and commenced organ and harpsichord lessons with the East Anglian Academy of Organ and Early Keyboard Music. Sam went on to study music at Leeds Conservatoire concluding his time with a BA in music.
Since joining the firm, Sam has completed a master’s in law alongside his LPC at York St John University and has worked in both our Private Client and Property Team.
Sam grew up in farming and has a solid understanding of the farming sector alongside common wider rural issues many members of our local agricultural community face.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys horse racing and is a Point-to-Point Steward in the Yorkshire area. During the summer months, Sam can sometimes be found at local agricultural shows showing vintage tractors.
