ABOUT LIZZY MILLS
Lizzy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2001 with a degree in Classics; then, after a year travelling, went on to the College of Law in London. She then trained at Mishcon de Reya in London and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.
Lizzy grew up in Middleham in Wensleydale and after several years down south returned to live in the local area with her family in 2020. Lizzy now specialises in Private Client work including wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and probate matters.
Lizzy prides herself on her approachability and her way of explaining matters to clients in a thoughtful and clear manner.
Lizzy has dealt with estates comprising international assets and agricultural elements. She has drafted wills for farming clients and business owners including those incorporating discretionary and other trusts for estate planning purposes.
She has put many lasting powers of attorney in place for clients of all ages and has acted for the attorneys themselves where a client was no longer able to manage their own affairs which required sensitivity and a commitment to involvement in those client’s lives.
Lizzy loves spending time with her family and walking her dogs - a fox-red Labrador called Ruben and a naughty whippet called Pippin.
