Business Advice

Business Advice

Within our commercial department, we are pleased to offer advice in relation to other aspects of company law, whether such advice is required in relation to your own business or company, or one which you are proposing to acquire or invest in.

Where your own company or business is concerned, it may be that you require advice in connection with the issue or sale of shares, the appointment of company officials such as directors and secretaries, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, your terms and conditions of business, the filing of documents at Companies House or possibly its dissolution or sale. We can assist in relation to any of these issues.

We also offer advice in connection with the start-up of a business or partnership. We will discuss with you the issues which you may need to consider before starting a new venture and will explain the nature of any documents which may be required, such as partnership agreements, which we will be pleased to prepare for you following discussion of your requirements.

If you are proposing to acquire an existing company from the current owner(s), we can advise or act on your behalf in settling the terms of the written agreement and any associated documents. Whether you have negotiated the terms of the purchase through a business agent or directly with the other party, we will do our best to ensure that the transaction is completed to your satisfaction and within the required timescale.

To discuss company/business matters further, please contact Martyn Clarke or Nick White (Ripon).
